I finally updated my website, and if you’ve been avoiding yours, you might need this.

If you have a website, then you know when it’s time for a refresh.

You know because it embarrasses you, or it has outdated information, or maybe you don’t even look at it anymore.

That’s where I was with my website at the end of last year.

I honestly didn’t even want to look at my website. I knew it was no longer a reflection of my skills or the way that I talked to people.

The thing is, as a web designer, I kinda feel like my website should be on point.

I mean, it literally is a reflection of what I do.

So, what did I do?

I ignored the problem.

For a couple of months, I stopped sending people to my website. I stopped thinking about my website as a trust-building space.

But that wasn’t sustainable.

I kept running into moments where I needed my website—whether it was for a networking event, a potential client asking to see my work, or just wanting to feel proud of my online presence and my business. And every time, I hesitated.

So I’ve been working on my new site behind the scenes and am so excited to share it with you!

And if you’ve been feeling the same way about your website—avoiding it, hesitating to send people to it—maybe it’s time for a refresh. I have one more spot in March, and two in April to start a project.
