I’ve been to a lot of outdoor shows over the years, especially the kind where you bring a blanket, pack snacks, and settle in for the night.

And every now and then, the vibe is super chill.

The band is on fire, but the crowd just sits.

Quiet. Still. Barely tapping their feet.

Eventually people warm up, but at first? It’s like they’re waiting for permission to engage.

That flat, no-reaction energy?

I see it in websites all the time that are well-made and technically solid.

But there’s no energy. No connection. No real response.
