Organize your services, organize your site
Website clarity starts with helping people find their next step
I’m writing to you in my favorite chair, in the middle of pure moving chaos.
We’re in the middle of moving, and I have to keep reminding myself that we chose this. It’ll be buttoned up soon and I’ll be able to think straight again.
Moving sets my squirrels into overdrive as I see everything that needs to be done at once.
What helps me is to make piles - piles to donate, keep, and sell.
That gives me smaller things to work through, instead of looking at the big expanse of chaos and trying to find the beginning.
That’s also how I approach website projects (which is always tidier, because it’s digital and I can just zoom in if I need to quiet some of the chaos).
Finding the important bits of information, organizing it together, and putting it into a system that flows - that’s where I thrive.
One of my superpowers is seeing patterns and distilling into the heart of information, so the fluff can fall away and what’s left is the most important information - the information that your customers or clients need to see to feel comfortable buying from you.
That’s the real goal of a good website, right?
Not just to look nice, but to guide people through the important stuff, in a way that feels calm, clear, and easy to act on.
If your site still feels like a giant mental pile of “I’ll get to it eventually,” I totally get it.
But if you’re ready to sort through the chaos, I’d love to help.
Right now I’ve got:
1 custom design slot for June
5 power hour sessions
2 SEO tune-ups
Just hit reply if you’re not sure what you need. I’m happy to help you sort the digital pile.
Quick Tip:
Does your site have a “Services” tab with a drop-down of 8–10 options?
Hate to break it to you, but most people aren’t reading all of them. They’re skimming, scanning, and looking for the fastest way to figure out if you can help them.
Instead, try grouping your services by category, outcome, or who they’re for. For example:
→ A single Services page with sections for each offer group
→ A dropdown that says “For Coaches,” “For Teams,” or “For Beginners,” depending on who you serve
→ Blurbs with optional links to full service pages (but only if you really need them)
When your services are organized, people can see themselves in what you offer and your site can guide them to exactly what they need.
