It feels like we’re in Colorado’s fifth false spring, so it’s a good time to think about spring cleaning your website.

A lot of people get a website and then kinda forget about it. And I get it - there are a million things to do when running a business.

But your website should be working for you, not just sitting there looking pretty.

If it’s been a while since you’ve looked at yours, here are a few things to check to make sure you’re getting the most out of your site:

1. Check Your Calls to Action (CTAs)

When someone lands on your website, do they know what to do next? Or are they just left to wander?

Every page should have clear next steps that lead to the overall site goal - whether it’s learning more about your offer, booking a call, or making a purchase. Make sure there’s a button or link everywhere someone naturally pauses so they don’t have to guess.

2. Make Sure Your Info is Up to Date

Ever read through your website and realize, Oops, that workshop was last month? Yeah, same.

Take a few minutes to scan your homepage and services page. Are your offers still relevant? Is your pricing accurate? Even small tweaks like updating your about page or refining your offers can make a huge difference.

3. Test It on Mobile

More than half of website visitors are on their phones. That means if your site isn’t mobile-friendly, you’re probably losing potential leads.

Pull up your site on your phone and check:

• Is the text easy to read?

• Do buttons work and are they easy to tap?

• Does anything feel clunky or slow?
