Did you know that when it comes to a new website, the actual website design is the last step of the process?

There’s a few other things that come first.

Step 1: Brand Strategy & Design

This is where it all starts. Brand strategy helps you figure out who your customers are, what they need, and your values. Brand design is the visual side - your logo, fonts, colors, and other things that help identify your brand at a glance.

Step 2: Website Copy

Before anything gets designed, the website copy (all of the words on your site) needs to be written. Skipping this step can lead to a beautiful site that doesn’t work - because visitors don’t know what you do or why they should care.

Think of it like this: the copy sets the stage, while the design brings it to life.

Step 3: Website Design

Now it’s time to design your site. With the branding and copy in place, the website can actually do its job to help your business grow instead of just looking good.

Words come first. If you start with design before you have clear messaging and strong conversion copy, you’ll end up with a website that looks great, but doesn’t help your business grow.
