Your Business Is More Digital Than You Think
Not a Black Friday email
“Regardless of what your business is, you’re a digital business”
I was listening to a webinar this week for NOAN - a content generation tool. The presenter, Neal Mann, said this and my ears perked up.
It’s not how I normally think of business, because industries like contractors, florists, bakeries, and plumbers are very hands-on. They’re not behind a screen all day, right?
But.
For those businesses to grow, they need visibility. And today, visibility isn’t just about direct mailers anymore—it’s about what shows up on phones: social media, Google reviews, or your website. Sure, direct mail works, but as soon as people see it, they’re pulling out their phones to check you out online.
This is what makes nearly every industry a digital business.
If you think of your business as a digital business, then the question “how do I sell more” is a little easier to answer.
It’s all about content.
Think of what fits your style: sharing quick updates on social media, sending emails, refreshing your website. Whatever it is, pick one or two channels you actually enjoy. If you hate it, you’re probably not going to stick with it.
Your marketing should feel like an extension of your business, not an endless chore.
And it all starts with your website. It’s the foundation of your digital business—let's make sure it's ready to help you grow. Book a discovery call today, and let's set your business up for success.
Let’s Hang Out IRL
Whatcha doing Monday, December 2 from 12-3?
I’m hosting a coworking event to focus on your website. If you’ve been meaning to update some photos, maybe write a blog post, or work on your About page - come hang out! I will probably be working on my website copy.
You don’t have to stay the whole time - come and go as your schedule allows.
I’ll also offer some website support, so if you have questions about something on your website, feel free to pick my brain.
No cost, no gimmicks. I just find it’s always more fun to work together, especially if you’re a solopreneur and your dog is tired of being your sounding board (just me?).
Here’s the deets:
When: December 2 from 12-3pm
Where: The Neighbor in Fort Collins
What to bring: Yourself, your laptop, your website plans
Hope to see you Monday!
Stacey
